In April we hosted a four-day Gathering to Envision, Experience and Manifest the world the way we want it to be. On our “envision” day, Val, a professional storyteller inspired our visions with a story. On the last day, one of the ways we manifested our visions was to write a story of our own told from a future perspective about a time before the new world came into being and how it had happened. Here are some of those stories.
KISSED BY THE STARS by Valerie Tutson
In the days before dreaming, the sun went down and the people entered into a time of darkness. They were sleeping and they had no visions. There was much pain and sorrow in the world.
The moon saw this and called the stars together. Soon the breath of heaven filled the air, and those who were sleeping breathed it in. The music and the celestial lights performed a magical dance in the night sky, and when the moon commanded stars fell from the sky into the hearts and minds of some who were asleep in the valley.
The night passed and the morning came. The sun rose and those who had been blessed by the stars woke up and went to wash. There they saw the kiss of the stars on their hearts and foreheads. Looking at their reflections in the river, each one heard a voice,“ Child of light and love, you have received a gift. It is your job to share it. Know that you are from Light and Love. Know that you are Light and Love. Know that you are to share Light and Love with the world.”
Each who heard was filled with a knowing like never before. A strong sense of self—one connected to the Source. One undeniable and it changed how each one walked through the world. There was a quiet strength, a straight back and solid step. There was peace in their beings and clear brightness in their eyes.
That was the beginning of The Change. And the other people saw and sensed this change. “What happened to you?” they asked. And those who'd been blessed shared their story, saying, “We come from Light and Love; we are Light and Love. We must bring Light and Love to the world.”
“What does that mean?” The people asked. “What do we do?”
And those who had been kissed by the stars said, “If we come from Light and we are Love we must live fully. We must first give thanks for the gift. And for this day, and for every thing around us, the earth and the river, the mountains, and the sky, the dogs, and the crops, and each one we see.”
And they did. Give thanks, and live in gratitude. In so doing, they banished fear of one another. They treated each other with kindness and helped those in need.
Soon there was great joy in the place. Songs were sung and laughter echoed through the valley and over the mountains. That was the second part of The Change.
One night, while the people slept, the stars danced again, and the breath of the Universe blew. It was another full moon night. Those gathered heard a new song in their dreams.
In the morning they knew. They had each been told, “Take your light and love and laughter out of this valley and bring it to the four corners of the world. Bring it to the places where people live in darkness and fear and have no dreams. Bring it to those who don't remember who they are or whose they are. You must go. Let your light shine.”
And so they did.
LISTEN & SHARE by Jonna-Maria Heedahl
Shhhh – listen children, - and listen carefully.
I am an old woman now, but before I cross over, I have to tell you a story, my great grandmother Jonna-Maria told me, when I was a child.
Children, - for you it is natural, that the water is clean, the air is clear and all people live in trust, - trusting themselves, trusting each other, trusting Pachamama and trusting the Universe.
It is natural for you - my children - that the World is ruled by Heart, and we all – Minerals, Plants, Animals and People share love and light. That we are all fully connected to Pachamama, - and care for her and ALL her children. It is natural for you – my children - to talk to the Stone people, the Plant people and the Animals. It is natural for you to respect all living beings.
But it has not always been like that!
Because a loooong time ago – my great grandmother told me – the World was ruled by fear. The water was dirty, the air was polluted, people fought and did not know how to share. They hurt Pachamama, and they did not know, that there is enough of everything to everybody . It was a dark and heavy time for Pachamama.
But one day the Stargiver called 10 people from different places on the Earth. They came from the States, from Sweden, from Denmark and from South America. The Stargiver let the Stars kiss the 10 people at night, and they met in a beautiful place called Peru.
They all knew how important it was to stop the unfortunate development and change the world, - and together they decided to make a vision for a new world.
They danced, they talked, they painted, told stories, made figures in Clay, they had Journeys, and they shared their dreams. And after 4 days they finally had made, what we today know as “ United Vision Unlimited”.
After the four days of hard work and lots of fun they all went back each to their country, each their community, each their family. When people saw them, they asked, “What has happened to you”? And they shared their love and their light and told them about the Vision.
Slowly people began to understand, and they too crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and were kissed by the Stars. And that's why we today have this loving world, we all take for granted.
And - listen carefully my children - that's why it is important, that YOU remember never to take our world for granted, but that it is YOUR responsibility now to keep our world clean, clear and ruled by Heart!
So promise me –before I cross over – that you my dear children – every day will listen to your Heart, listen to Pachamama and SHARE.
THE OTHER SIDE by Jamee Curtice
Once upon a time, there was a woman from the future, who accidentally discovered an invisible wall. One day, she peeked through the wall and was surprised. The wall had many small holes - almost like a Pi Stone. From the future, the people began to make beautiful sounds and toning.
On the other side of the wall, during the time of now, a young boy heard these sounds, these tones. He peeked through these holes and found that he could travel from his world to the next. He came to the future and found how beautiful people were living at this time... loving, harmonious, and protecting the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and light. He saw there was an elder who had created an organization called UNITED VISION HEARTQUARTERS. He gave him a magical heart quarter to put under his pillow at night.
The young boy went back and forth through the invisible wall - each time he would find one or two people from his world to hear the sounds from the other side. One by one they learned how to work with invisibility and would choose to live in the future. He found a rainbow bridge that went up into the sky. The Stargiver was there - sending starlight to all those people who did not yet know how to dream.
On the boy's side of the wall, the boy taught stories, songs, and dances all from the other side. People remembered how to be happy. Their energies changed. Their senses grew and they could easily hear these amazing sounds from the future. The elder began to teach classes on how to work with both the heart and the head. He also taught about the star beings. They had a sacred altar with a triangular stone that had a circle in the center. They often drummed for peace around the stone. Another beautiful elder named Diane would just smile as she witnessed all that was happening around her. She knew it was happening effortlessly and delightfully without effort.
This allyu or tribe or community knew that it was important to keep one of their sacred rituals. At the end of a gathering or sharing time, they always remember to eat chocolate cake!
TRANSFORMATION by Gray Jeffery
When the StarGivers emerged through the portal they had one clear message…the people of the earth must have an unlimited unified vision. They were to create a container where they operated from their hearts with the power of love and fearlessness. They were to understand that living in union with Pachamama meant living with abundance and living with respect to one another and to all the plant, animal and mineral life that existed around them. It meant giving thanks. Being grateful for life itself and the gifts that it brings. Giving thanks would be done not only in quiet meditation and ritual but by ceremony. The people were to give honor by burning fires through the night and by beating drums to the rhythm of the planet. The ceremony would be infectious. It would draw people out from their old patterns and beliefs and awaken them. The ceremony would be the bridge from those that haven't awakened to those that had and to those that had brought the wisdom and knowing.
As the ceremonies increased the vibration rippled through the communities across the continents. People understood that courtesy, respect, honor and love were the new words of the day. The paradigms of war for peace, violence for silence and hatred for compassion were now passé, were now cast away because they no longer served the purpose of the small minority that created them. People would not be tolerant of ways that manipulated and took advantage of others.
A new way had formed. The chaos of yesteryear faded with time. The world community was unified by the love in their hearts that bound them. And everyone ate organic food and did yoga and sang kumbaya and lived happily ever after.
Until the earth blew up!
Because what is existence…but transformation!!
AYNI's SMILE by Wendy Birmbaum
Oh, so many years ago people lived in a community in the expansive valleys of the desert without water, without much food, with lots of heat and wind and bone chilling cold. And with little hope - for all they saw wherever they looked was more desert and sand and nothingness.
Over the many years the numbers of people increased, but the scarce supplies of water and food did not. The members of the families began to fight and argue over everything. Then they became silent within their homes because there was nothing more to say, no thoughts or feelings to express - no hope, no love - just existence.
As the families came outside of their homes, they did speak, and yell, and argue and fight with their neighbors - for taking more than their share, for not contributing, not helping. And all in the community were angry and desperate and without hope or love.
Each person felt hopeless. All of the people grew angry and violent and had wars within the families and the community to attempt to destroy those who took or had too much. There was no order. No one listened to the leaders, because the leaders could make nothing better.
Their lives were as flat and desperate as the desert in which they lived.
Into all of this void, there was born a girl, Ayni, who, even as a baby, wore a smile - always. When others argued, she smiled. When others became silent, she smiled, but not just with her lips, but with her eyes and her whole body - from her heart.
When she was a child, the other children and adults accepted her smile as something odd and thought she was just a bit crazy. So, they paid little attention to her "odd" smile.
So very often Ayni would laugh, and laugh and laugh such a happy, joyous laugh that the others would start to smile. And, sometimes even laugh a bit. And something magical began to happen to these people as they smiled and laughed - they started to "feel" again! They had a feeling and were aware of a small change inside. A feeling! Something they hadn't had for ever so long. And a happy feeling!
As Ayni grew up, she continued to smile and laugh. As did more and more of the others. When Ayni became an adult she knew she had been given a gift from some greater spirit to share her smiles and her joy and her love. And she had a responsibility to help her desert people out of their hopeless state of life.
She knew she'd helped by making people smile and laugh. But much more needed to be done. And she knew she needed help to teach the others how to love.
She loved the children especially. So, she brought all of the children of the community together to teach them to smile, to sing, to laugh, to talk about feelings, to feel, to share, to hug, to love. She believed that if the children experienced love and happiness they would share this with their families and with the community.
And it worked!! Families and neighbors talked again, and smiled and laughed, and cared and loved - and had hope once again. The people in the community began to talk and share ideas, and share food and water. And to live in harmony.
Then the people of this community started to travel beyond their desert and learned there were other people in the world. And they smiled at these other people - who were not smiling and were silent and hopeless. And, the smiles were a bit of magic to start a spark of a smile, then words from these new people.
And the people of Ayni's community returned and told her what they saw and experienced, and how the smiles brightened these other people.
And, Ayni, and the world, were at peace, smiling, happy and with Hope.
CO-CREATING A NEW WORLD by Diane Dunn
Once upon a time there was a man and a woman who lived on earth in different corners of the world. Before they came to earth, they lived on the same star where they made a contract to meet when they knew the moment was right on earth to change the world. Many years passed on earth and they experienced so much life that they nearly forgot their promise. But one day, while the man and the woman were sleeping in their own corners of the world, the Star-Giver blessed them with a Star-kiss that helped them remember their soul contract. In his dream the man saw a beacon of light from the high Andes Mountains in Peru. He packed his bags and journeyed to a small town along the river in the Sacred Valley not knowing that the woman would be there. But because she too had been kissed by the Star-Giver, she remembered her promise and was waiting for his arrival. When they saw each other, their hands touched and their hearts remembered everything.
And so began their challenge to change the world.
The first world they need to change was their own because they had become very set in their own earthly ways and each had their own manner of managing their lives. His corner of the world was urban, neat and orderly. Her corner was mountainous, mystical and a bit chaotic. They had to adapt, release, heal and transform in order to see the other with eyes of love.
Then they gathered together with friends who had traveled from near and far to help them envision a new world. They sat around the fire and dreamed their world into being by removing their heads and placing them on their hearts. It was then that the Star-Giver again came down from heaven and opened their hearts to envision a world where people lived in Trust instead of the fear they'd always known. They envisioned a world where everyone was valued and supported, where they shared and contributed and made decisions by consensus. Together the group envisioned that the place they were in by the Sacred River would be the Heartquarters for their United Vision to grow and manifest.
Soon their envisioning blossomed into experience. First they experienced their vision together at the Heartquarters but then it was time for all but the man and woman to return to their own corners of the world and so the vision began to spread. Each of the friends found other groups who had done the same kind of work around their own fires, people who had also been kissed by the Star-Giver.
In this way, with Love and Trust and Gentle Hearts, the vision was manifest and the world was changed. The man and the woman were very happy that their soul contract was now being fulfilled. They kept the fire burning at the Heartquarters of United Vision Unlimited and continued to help others to gather and envision new visions and learn how to manifest them.
Because the man and the woman had learned how to come together in the balanced union of Love and Light, they reflected the perfect union of male and female in the divine creator. They were able to experience heaven on earth and they lived happily ever after.
