ITINERARY

Day 1 - pick up from the Cusco airport followed by a driving tour of Cusco and then to Pisac for lunch and to acclimate to the altitude. After lunch enjoy the colorful local market. Stay at Paz y Luz in Pisac.

Day 2 - Explore the Inka ruins in Pisac, tuning into the power of the sacred mountain. Then drive through the Sacred Valley to lunch at an outstanding gourmet restaurant in Urubamba. After lunch you will tour the ruins of Ollantaytambo, to connect with the elements and the sacred energy there. Take the 7pm train from Ollanta to Aguas Calientes, where you will sleep.

Day 3 - Early morning bus to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour, with time afterwards to explore on your own, the famous lost city of the Inkas. You may climb Huayna Picchu or wander freely before taking the 2:26pm train to Cusco where you will be taken to your hotel. You have the evening free in Cusco.

Day 4 - In the morning there will be time on your own to wander around Cusco, visit churches and museums if you'd like, shop for crafts, etc. After lunch you will have a “city tour” of the Sun temple, the Cathedral and explore the ancient temples above Cusco: Sacsaywaman, Q'enko, and Tambo Machay. Then you will return to Pisac where you will have dinner and spend the night at Paz y Luz.

Day 5 - WORKSHOP

COST PER PERSON: $ 488 (double occupancy)

This includes breakfast, hotels, local transportation, entry to all sights, train to Machu Picchu and guide services. It does not include airfare, drinks or tips. Note: all breakfasts are continental.
