For 7 days 6 nights in Cusco and the Sacred Valley
(NOTE: It is best if the arrival day is a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday)

Day 1 - Pick up from the Cusco airport followed by a driving tour of Cusco and then to Pisac for lunch and to acclimate to the altitude. After lunch enjoy the colorful local market. Stay at Paz y Luz B&B in Pisac.

Day 2 - Drive through the Sacred Valley to the ruins of Ollantaytambo, where we can do meditations to connect with the elements and the sacred energy there. After lunch we return to Pisac to explore the Inka ruins above the town. Sleep at Paz y Luz B&B in Pisac.

Day 3 - Drive to Ollanta to take the 9:05am train to Aguas Calientes. Your guide will accompany you to Machu Picchu where we will explore this famous lost city of the Inkas. Later we will soak in the healing hot springs of Aguas Calientes. Sleep in Aguas Calientes.

Day 4 - Return early to the ruins of Machu Picchu to climb Huayna Picchu and wander freely before taking the 4:20pm train and returning to Pisac where we will have dinner and spend the night. Sleep at Paz y Luz.

Day 5 - Trip to the fascinating circular ruins of Moray where we can have a picnic lunch surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains. We return to Pisac in the afternoon with time to relax, explore or shop. Sleep at Paz y Luz.

Day 6 - We will explore the ancient temples above Cusco: Tambo Machay, Q'enko, Temple of the Moon, and Sacsaywaman. After lunch there will be time on your own to wander around Cusco, visit churches and museums if you'd like, shop for crafts, etc. After dinner, disco dancing is an option for the evening! Sleep in Cusco, near the main plaza.

Day 7 - Taxi to airport to fly to Lima [breakfast included. Taxi fare (not included) is $1 to be paid to the driver]

Optional 8th day in Cusco before leaving for $50 pp single or double.

Diane Dunn, your tour coordinator, is an initiate in the Andean (Inka) spiritual tradition as well as an ordained minister from NYC. She is trained in Andean energy healing, Reiki and other alternative healing practices. Former outreach pastor in Johannesburg, South Africa, she developed a healing ministry with homeless and unemployed people in the inner city. Her weekly healing workshops utilized creative arts and visualization. Diane moved to Cusco, Peru in June 2000. She has written a book called "CUSCO: The Gateway to Inner Wisdom" that describes the magic one is able to access through the power of the Andean tradition and the wonderful masters with whom she has been studying.
